Well, I'll be damned if I can remember the title, but you were this little space dude walking around. Very pixel-y, I think he had a laser gun and catchy music. I think going between levels, there were warp pads/doors. I played it back in '93 or '94, but it was probably a bit older than that. Probably ran on Win 3.1. 2-d side scroller...
I wish my memory could serve better, but I was about 7 at the time.
Anyone have the fainest idea as to what I'm talking about?

I tried Keen, the graphics were better than the game I'm thinking of... and it just wasn't as cool as Duke Nukem, so no on both counts. *sigh*

I would start poking around here: http://www.the-underdogs.org/

Its tough to say with such a vague description. might be Baal by Psygnosis or one of the many Ocean, Bitmap Brothers, Titus games that came across the shores. Check out the Underdogs though, I think they have a search feature by genre and date.
