Uhhh... sorry to burst your bubble, but this is a gag image some one came up with to "bash" the new GBA-SP, what do u think the "BS" stands for at the end? ill give u 3 guesses.... no.... no.... no... ill tell u... BULL $#!+!!!! thats wat it stands for! NINTENDO* wouldnt develop another hand held system right after investing millions possibly billions of dollars in to the GBA system just so they could toss out another GAME BOY system right after... they usually have a 2-4 year "waiting period" so they could milk the currnet system dry of all possible income then they announce & release the new system that has substantial improvements in graphics & design... ITS CALLED: STRATEIGIC MARKETING! this pic is just some ones idea of a gag, nothing more...

uhh no not really.. please elaborate the difference between DS & BS... cos this looks very VERY fake... i look up NINTENDO.com & didnt see anything about it and on IGN and videogames.com... where did u get that image and info?

EGM: Will DS games come on Gameboy-style cartridges?
PK: they are finalizing that now--- that's a possibilty.
EGM: We know you can't talk specific titles, but are developers already woring on DS games?
PK: Several developers had already been briefed [about the system]...and we're giong on the road to meet with developers now. we're in the midst of working with a lot of licensees to get them devolopment kits. |
ther I hope I've elaborated enough for you, this probly belongs in Ezee's thread, but oh well. ther was also a concept art in the artical, it looks like a GBA sp but with a Gamecube style controller at the bottom.

i see... however tha is NOT very portable... it polly wouldnt even fold in on itself! it would take up a whole row of seats in a car, bus, theater... ANYWHERE!!! thats so friggin odd! and why does it look like the GBA-SP?!?!? ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO!!! i bet u guys this is a APRIL FOOLS gag, they build up hype then on April 1st they say "OH MAN DID WE SAY GBA-DS? WELL SORRY, ITS A JOKE! HA HA HA HA...." and so on...

Logann64, the image Anile8 posted is a gag... but there really is a new portable system that nintento is making and that's what anti bluz is talking about.
It's in it's early stages of development, it's being called "Nintendo DS" for DS dual screen.

oh that sounds good.. cos that GBA-BS looked like a piece of crap! it want nuts with the friggin screens! they would spend 5 years per game to program any game for that monster, and that would cost atleast $1000 to start.... and weigh somewhere between 30-40 pounds!!!!! try luggin that around in ur pocket!! i knew it was a gag cos MARVEL did the same thing on april fools where they said spider-man comics were going down big time so they were gonna put him on the X-MEN, they had like 300 concept pic on their site & a release date... but when APRIL 1st hit they said "GOT YA!!", but personally GBA (and GBA-SP) still have atleast 4 years of play left in them... cos seriously who can afford the $300 N-GAGE, with the $15-20 subscription/download fees??? EUGH! itll be a while before other companis like SONY, and MICROSOFT come up with a portable system that will blow GAME BOY outta the water... cos if you remember GAME GEAR it sucked...

...it's sad really, Logann can't even comprehend that this whole thread was a joke in the first place.
Every game made for that thing would be basically different versions of the same thing if each screen were made for an exclusive purpose. Crappy photoshop work too.
