I have been running on older version of mame on an older computer. I have trouble with most of the games running slow. Weather it's the sound does not keep up with the video and so forth. I want to purchase a newer computer and get the latest mame version from Dougs Roms and also some guns to play shooting games. I was wondering if there are any recommendations on what computer to get that can keep up with the arcade games. example I can't play nba jam because it's way to slow to keep up. And any ideas on what to get as far as guns go for mame. Are there a lot of games you can play in mame that are shooters? Thanks for the help
