there was a mame game like Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow over Mystara but it was different..there was an archer character and a guy with chains as i remember there was also a minatour boss which falls down as u defeat him.anyone knows?

Probably not what you're looking for, but since you didn't mention it, perhaps it's AD&D: Tower of Doom? Predates SoM, but it's been a long time and I can't remember the character types in it (or if there were any lost going into SoM), especially since I always just used the same one anyway (arcade or emu). =\
