I'm having trouble getting the Golden Axe the Duel rom I downloaded from Rom-Nation to work. It has 7 files in it, but when I try to play it on Mame32, it says I am missing 7 different files. Am I supposed to rename the files maybe? I'm new to Mame, so I don't know much about it...sorry.
I am not on my computer with the rom on it right now, but if someone can help me, I can name the files that I have, and the files it says I'm missing later. I'm using the newest Mame32 I think.

Thanks, but I couldn't find the answer. Golden Axe the Duel does not have a parent rom. Also, I'm pretty sure it isn't corrupted, because it is the correct file size. There's no way it is missing 7 files and can still be the correct amount of MB....

hmmmm, well im going to assume that you have d/l other roms and they work on your emulator but if u d/l golden axe and it did show up as a working game on your mame list then it could be corrupt or missing files........ill try downloading it later when i get to my computer to see wassup with it

Yeah, I've downloaded other games. I just can't get Golden Axe the Duel to work.
When I audit my roms, Mame says that it is missing 7 files. Golden Axe the Duel only comes with 7 files, but they are all different from the ones I need.
What I'm thinking, is that I need to rename the files or something...but I don't know which ones to rename what. Or maybe they are corrupted, but I don't think so....
