i downloaded metal slug (first one) off of this site but when i ran it in mame 32 it said it had wrong checksums. i already have the neo geo bios too. somebody please to me how to fix this if you know, thanks.

first make sure you are not using mame 32 v80 because the roms here do not support v80.....also make sure u have your directories set to the folder that is holding metal slug and the neo geo bios. I had the same problem your going to need MAME32 v78, in the new version they updated the files.

Weird. I'm using Mame32 0.80u1 and all my roms have come from this site. Metal Slug 3, King of Fighters 2000, and a bunch of others.

hi i have the same problem
problem is I am using 0.77 mame32 and still it gives me invalid checksums
and yes i have the neogeo bios
