What's lame is that seems to be the only reason you can think of to not get Nintendogs.
Did "Because it's stupid" ever cross your mind? How about the fact that the $40 you spend on it could have been put toward a game that doesn't suck? Or the fact that if people buy Nintendogs, it just encourages Nintendo to make more games like it (remember: every dollar and hour spent in development of this game takes away from the next Zelda game they could have produced).
There's three reasons to not buy Nintendogs, and I didn't even have to bother engaging in technical faggotry about virtual dog abandonment.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo has seperate teams working on their franchises and Nintendogs is obviously made for the girls or the very young among us, it's like tamagotchi only far more advanced

Yeah, I know. I just remain bitter over the lack of good games for the DS. Would it kill Nintendo to debut a system with something that people want to play, like a Zelda or Metroid sequel?

We might not like Nintendogs but it's one of the best sold Games this moment, Nintendo is making a lot of money with it and it's probably the main reason why the DS is outselling the PSP....

You know what they should do for the DS ??? Port over Zelda 64 and release that damn FF6 already for it. Nintendo should also try to release that '' New Super Mario Bros '' by the end of summer. =/ Its just my opinion anyways.

Mario Kart is always good fun, but I retain my original point.
For example, I was at the store earlier today and ventured into the electronics section, and here is what I saw: a DS + Mario Kart bundle sold for less than I originally payed for just my DS when it debuted.
Way to support the people supporting you, Nintendo? I mean, we help support them by purchasing the system on the midnight release (in my case) or within the first couple months, and we end up punished for it in the long run. Before we know it they've decided that their business model sucked and now they're giving people far more for their money than they ever gave us.
Plus, when we had our DS systems the only game worth playing was Mario 64 DS, and remained that way for quite some time. As I said: would it kill Nintendo to debut a system JUST ONCE with some of the solid games we want to play? I want that Nintendo jerkass from the E3 show to come to my house and personally explain to me what law dictates that video game companies must accompany brand new systems with complete and utter crap.
And FYI, it's not FF6 for the DS. The upcoming DS Final Fantasy is a port of FF3 originally for the NES, revamped with 3d graphics and some bonus content. (You would think a person with Kain for their avatar would know the difference between Final Fantasy games)
However, FF6 is being ported to the GBA along with FF4 (coming out in less than two weeks!) and FF5.

Good point pal, I agree with U on that. U might get Ur wish to see come true now that Zelda - Twilight Princess got delayed, I suspect Nintendo is going to make it a release title for their Revolution, now that would be something, wouldn't it?? I expect the Rev. to sell really good when it comes bundled with that one on its release, Legend of Zelda is one of the best sold franchises ever so it certainly is going to boost the Rev. sales....

No, I'm not kidding. Nintendogs has been immensely successful to date. It sold 250,000 in the first week of the U.S. release. That means 15% of DS owners by that date bought a copy of the game, which is unprecedented in handheld game sales.
According to Nintendo, it's boosted sales of the DS many times over (in Europe, for example, they claim a %400-%700 boost in DS sales. In Japan, a supposed %500 boost in DS sales). So it's not just become a best selling game, it's also helped sell the system.
When I say that Nintendo has been encouraged to dedicate more time and resources to projects like this, I was absolutely serious.

NintendoDogs is the stupids idea to ever come out.. Ive said that when they released the whole idea to it and I first read about it on the internet. If you want to play and take care of dogs go out to the pet store and buy yourself one... Hell with the 40 bucks you spent on the damn game you could probably get yourself 2 dogs.. And if you look closely out there some people are even giving away pups..
And to actually think that NintendoDogs was nominated for best hand held game of the year in this years VGAs on Spike TV..
Hey Mario64 is an awsome game, and always will be... I still find myself playing it...
Especially when there is a long queue in WoW... =P
What I think is that they should take the games from the N64 that people want and loved to play and port it to the DS... I mean the lil thing has the power to do so.. so why not..

I wouldn't say that the lack of the analog makes the game a lot more challenging and at times really frustrating.
