In Zsnes its the tilda key. It depends on the emulator. You'll also want to turn off all the other backgrounds and things so its just the sprite that you get. Those are usually the number keys...1-5 i think. 6 resets them all I believe. Check the key configuration of your emulator, it will show you all you need to know. They keys might also not be mapped yet, so checking the key config. well help that too.
