Trigun albeit a bit confusing in the storyline at times was a decent anime, and Cowboy Bebop was definitely a great series. I also liked the older Gundam series, especially the 8th MS team OVA

Full Metal Alchemist is my current favorite, but the two animes that will always have a special place in my heart: Speed Racer and Sailor Moon. *sigh*

I loved the Ah! My Goddess movie though. A bunch of young teenage girls and two dorky guys watching a movie like that, hilarity ensues.

Shingetsutan Tsukihime, almost without a doubt, is my favorite anime series. Sadly, from everything I hear, it can't even touch the original game.
Mahoromatic and Excel Saga are also up there on my list, and I'm going to have to second Auctoritas on the comment about Speed Racer. Fond memories...
