That's an awfully bold statement there Star Shadow. I hear Ohio State is about to get ripped into by the NCAA for recruiting violations stemming from allegations that Maurice Clarett has made. To me, the one bright spot in Ohio next year just might be at Ohio, now that they've got Frank Solich as their coach. Granted, they probably aren't gonna be going to any BCS bowls since they're in the MAC, but I'd look for the Bobcats to have the better year than the Buckeyes. Crazier things have happened.
As far as National Champions go, I'm looking for USC to go for the three-peat, although they're gonna have a harder time of it without Norm Chow.

USC days are over. This past season Ohio St had noting but freshmen and sophmores. We will only lose a few players but we will take the big ten this comming season. As far as Clarett gose, his whining days are over.
The only thing Ohio St will deal with is the basketball team not playing in the March Madness. The Director of Athletics quit because of the scandles, so that took some heat off the the school. Ohio St might lose scholorships for the next few years but thats it.
What college do you attend? Can they play with the big boys.

...You guys make me feel insignificant. I'm a senior in a Highschool in the middle of nowhere and my school's boys teams (Note the plural) haven't won a single game in three years.

O_O;
Wow... that sounds oddly similar to my school. My school is located next to what used to be Loring Air Force Base, which closed in the early 90's I think. Now our school is really poor and K-12 are all in one building, though I think we have somewhere around 300 students.

The University of Alabama. And unfortunately, at the present the good ole Crimson Tide can't play with the big boys any more cos we have this pitiful excuse of a moronic head football coach named Mike Shula, who is (hopefully) going into his final year here as in two years he has yet to beat a real team. With the exception of Southern Miss, all of the teams he has beaten in the last two years have had losing records. And these days 3 years is about all head coaches get in the SEC to establish themselves and get those "signature wins", of which Shula has none.
Just curious, but why do you say USC's days are over. Aside from losing their OC and defensive line coach, their 2004 squad is going to be pretty much intact. Leinart decided to stay for his senior year, and I believe they had the #1 freshmen recruiting class in the country. Not to mention the fact that Pete Carroll is one of the top defensive coaches in college football.

Do you really watch sports like that?
OK let look at a few things. For starters USC 2005 schedule.Click. Now there are a few things that can happen.
1. Streght of schedule keeping them out of the Championship game.
2.They play Cal and it's at cal. J.J. Arrington rushed for 2000 yards last season. Smell defeat.
3. The season turns out to be a good one and the get a three-peat.
4. The season flops and Washington has a new coach...upset. There is too much pressure on USC this comming season.
Thats really good you like sports. By the way, if you like sports that much do you get into Fantasy Leagues?

Strength of schedule is no longer calculated in the BCS formula and really only factors into the human polls if the top 3 or 4 teams all have identical win/loss records, like we had this past season with USC, Hype-lahoma, and Auburn. So unless that happens again next year, which I sincerely doubt, schedule strength won't be much of an issue. Auburn better hope it doesn't. Theirnon-conference schedule is a joke.
Yes, Cal did hand USC their only defeat in 2003, but I don't think they have Aaron Rogers anymore though, so there goes their star QB. And yes, Washington has a new coach, but they'd be better off getting Rick Neuheisel back cos I just don't think Tyrone Willingham has quite what it takes to upset USC during a rebuilding year.
I'm not saying I'm ready to put all my money on the Trojans, but I think they have about as good a chance as you can expect in college football today to win 3 national championships in a row.
I like college football and basketball, but I'm not very big on Pro Sports, so no I don't do the fantasy league stuff.

What!!! I can't believe what I'm reading. *tears* So much detail. Did you learn this over night
Yeah I like College sports better than the pros. Are you from a family that like sports. I just feel it's time some other school to step up. Now BC will join the ACC will see if Miami is top dog or not. The Big East is falling apart with Temple getting kicked out. Now if Notre Dame joined the Big Ten, personally I think it would make the Big Ten very strong confrence in college football. But I say screw the BCS Bowls and have a playoff instead.
