| Alternatives to the mouse? |
 |
I don't know if this is an intelligent question or not but are there any options for navigating through windows, playing games, etc. besides the old mouse. My hand cramps up about an hour in and in this day and age it would be odd if ther aren't any alternatives. I'm the type to sit down and play a game from beginning to end when I really like something and a different peripheral (i think that's how you spell it) would save me from carpal tunnel syndrome.

Perhaps if this site had these you could stop double posting?

This is the best site on the web for PC abandonware.

Though you probably won't find any Lucasarts games there. Which is a shame since I've been looking for a good copy of Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe....I loved that game.

try a cordless mouse and hold it directly in front of you (move your keyboard), your problems are probably related more to how you hold the house than the actual use of a mouse
you can use a trackball, i don't mind them. or a touchpad like a notebook computer, but pretty silly idea for a desktop pc. i would be buying logitech things, they're not the cheapest but the quality is great and they last forever

Yep I still use the same old Logitech 3-button mouse I bought for my p166
I can´t think of a better alternativ thou ... I never had any problems with my mouse except when playing Diablo 2 .... click click click click ...
A good work place, and stop playing ninja click games might solve your problem
