When I try to use game genie - lets say for sonic the hedgehog 2
I tried loading gamie genie - i put codes in and then tried to load game but it erases the game cheats
and the same vise-versa
what am i suppose to be doing?
there is no read-me file
thanks!

It depends upon the emulator. You probably need to load the rom first then input cheat data.
