Just curious if anyone was thinking of grabbing one of these. I thought about getting an SP when it came out, but it was still too bulky for me (I don't really like having stuff in my pockets.)
If it comes out w/a starting price under $49 I'll probably grab one.

I would... but, I'm poor. Oh, and I'd lose it; besides, I'm happy with my Spiderman GBA. -_-a Still haven't quite figured out why the thing is PINK, but, oh well, it's not like it really matters.

I think its shit, who gives a fuck
The GBA is basically 16 year old technology, and im a little bewildered how Nintendo willl hold on to their market leadership in the portable market, even the DS is technically speaking 10 year old, an underpowered glitchy N64
who gives a shit anyhow

Its just shit, I mean even the PSP is what 7-8 year old technollogy powering it.
I would say very, very soon, even mid-level mobile phones will equal the power to that of the DS, easily, full 3D ennvironments as seen in Nintendo's flagship, spearhead luanch of the decade, SUPER MARIO 64 DS!
Surely when in a year or under whent the Mobile market (phones) has reached such a level that for example Mario 64 or 96? TEN YEAR OLD MAN!! could run on a Nokia or Smasung or whatever. Thats trillions of customers out there.
I dont give a fuck anyhow

7-8 year old technology?
Yes. Of course. because 7 years ago there was lots of technology with the power and size of that used in the PSP.

It looks like a piece of crap to me too. I don't think the console companies give a damn if no one can get through their games. as long as they make alot of money. Well I think these new systems coming out suck big time I had to trade in 6 PS2 games cause they were so difficult I couldn't beat them at all. All these companies are in competition with each other on who has the best system and they dont give a damn about the game players who play them and want to have fun!

For about $20 more, you can get a DS and have the option of playing DS games in addition to your GBA library. I think that says it all.
But this isn't to discount the novelty value entirely. Some people may respond well to having a GBA that is small enough to carry without burden.
Otherwise, the GBA micro seems too little--too late. But if you remember, they did the same thing at the end of the Gameboy Color's life. Releasing many gimmick variations of the same exact technology seems to be Nintendo's business model for wringing a little more revenue out of a system that is about to be shelved altogether.
Though we know that the GBA has at least through 2006 before termination. We've still got at least two Final Fantasy ports in addition to the usual junk, and probably a few more worthwhile original releases.

the console is terribly small, the size of the SP is perfect for carrying around and playing, why bother to get this one?
