well since it looks like there are not to many people on this forum i decided to just give the wood work a shot myself

i used some sheet pvc i have from work (i do custom interiors on airplanes and this is the stuff we use for making side pannels) and it worked great for the face plate

and built a platform inside using plywood and the metal brakets that were already in the cab ( i did have to drill new holes and mount them in diffrent spots tho )

now i just need a better monitor or lcd tv to go in there and then its just playing the waiting game till i recive my x-arcade tankstik

im still looking for some sugg. on what monitor or tv is the best to ise for mame

oh and i had the fun of drilling out the coin box lock it was actually really easy i could go to any arcade and in a secluded corner have the box opend before anyone noticed a thing only took about half a min to do and the metal was really soft so it didnt even really make a whole lot of noise lol now to figure out what im putting in there

on a side note is there any way to make the coin return slots buttons and map them in so when i pushh them in it adds coins in mame im trying to get away with not having a keyboard and mouse

thanks

well i just got done building the computer and installing it in the cab i ended up putting a power strip and running it like the old power cord was now i can plug in the comp and monitor (the monitor im using now is a temp one) and eventually ill be running a black light on the header on top to light the marquee im installing windows now and then its time to transfer all my mame stuff from this computer over to it

i cheaped out and used a 80 gig ide hard drive but i think that should be enough for mame,snes,sega,n64,nes emulators and enough roms to keep me busy for 10 years lol

so far i have like 180 mame roms and with mame its only 1 gig im dl 13 gigs of mame roms now but will probaly only end up using half of em any way + i used a wireless net card in the computer so ill just tap into my home network and use this computer as a server for the roms

ahhh now just have to wait for my x-arcade tank stick i want to use it bad really bad lol

Yeah, you are listed as a member there. For some reason it hasn't been sending out emails letting people know they are approved. I updated the registration READ ME to let people know.
