Ok I read the sticky that "whooisdis" wrote about how to play SFIII3

Ok when I start up the game the game goes 320x240 (thats wut i set it on ,Full screen slowed down my PC)
ANYWAY When I start it up on MAME_v.0.117, the window of the game is black, and its like scratchy, i cant see a thing...How do i fix this? heres the pic

Couple more details and I will try to help you out. Have you tried any other games? or is it just this one. What are your PC specs? Does the game show in fullscreen, but just runs slow?

well the game is on 320x240, and my specs are

eMachines T3096
AMD Athlon XP
1.3 GHz, 384 MB Ram
Nvidia Geforce 4 GX Integrated GPU

And also the problem is the screen stays like that...

oh yeah and i jus noticed that happens with every game, wut do i do...

You need more ram the fact that u have a integrated gfx means u have even less ram to work with u should have at least 1gb but 2gb would be better less load on ur system resources u must have a huge virtual memory page file

ditto. You need more RAM to play SFIII. I don't know what you did with your video settings, but just delete your MAME and start from scratch. Use a simple game like Galaga or something and mess around with the video settings until you find what works with your PC. The default settings should be OK, so you shouldnt need to mess with it much.

thanks the both of u, i didnt know i needed so much RAM cuz, on the Nebula Emulator, it Ran fine, i just wanted to use MAME because of the fact u can play Online...Thanks again!
