Basically, retina we are on two levels. You are just above newbie and I'm on advanced. As soon as you take your nose out of Hitikori's ass you will come to realize this. You learn things because you ask basic questions. The first question I have EVER had answered was the one about Kawaks which if I had taken a half hour to research I would have found out on my own. This wasn't meant to be a flaming thread either but if you would like to turn it into one we certainly can. Also, if and when I do leave your precious little community will be a touch weaker for it.

PCAE is an atari 2600 emulator and TIM is a auditing tool based around TOSEC's rom sets. Essentially, it unzips your games renames them and then zips them all back up again, nice and neat.

I'm glad that our ass of a moderator has copped an attitude once again! It makes me wonder how many people you personally have driven off the forums. I was merely trying to start a conversation. I don't need them to dump them, I've been a member on Cowering's website for a couple years now, I'm waiting for a response from him or one of his people because I have noticed other issues with some of his stuff, and it's three games I might add. Usually, I go straight to the source for answers. When I had a problem with PCAE from John Dullea I wrote him about it got an answer, and the latest version which hasn't been released. When I was having issues with TIM I wrote Grendel and spoke with him about it. I don't know why I keep coming back to this shithole of site because no one here knows jack shit about anything and the rom collections suck.

Why do you post a couple of these billion links up then? Searches for 'missing n64', 'n64', and 'n64 3.11' don't bring up any of your answers....

Also, from my understanding the Cowering project is for tracking dumped roms not potentially dumped roms.

I was wondering if there was a way to read in data from cd isos, like playstation games and determine information from the game such as the title, region, etc. Are there any tools that would do this? Is it possible? Any info would help.

You are missing 3 of 2989 known Nintendo 64 ROMS (V3.11)

Banjo-Kazooie (U) (V1.1) [!p]
Waialae Country Club - True Golf Classics (U) (V1.1) [!p]
WWF No Mercy (U) (V1.1) [!p]

From what I gather these roms haven't been dumped, so why are they included in the database????

What is the real difference between these three? To me it just seems like Kawaks and Nebula are cross sections of the MAME project.

Never thought I would see this thread again.....

What you need to do for Streets of Rage is get a tool for hacking Sega Genesis games. Go to the aforementioned site.

Yeah, pretty much. Worst case scenario is they shut down U.S. ROM sites and then threaten the rest. After that everyone downloads just as muchas normal only through P2P which is were the best ROMs are anyway and with the easiest downloading. In the mean time I don't think emulation is as big as a scare to the gaming industry as lets say music because any retard can work media player, not everyone can work an emulator. The support forum is proof of that.

I agree. I liked Genesis, I liked SNES, I liked NES BUT I hated the N64's and refused to buy a Nintendo System solely base on this fact alone since that systems inception in 199X whatever. Wii's controller still looks tiresome and tedious to use. I immediately thought "Power Glove" and that as anyone that used it recalls: provided [lol] very accurate control of your game. I think my favorite is the PS2.

Renam the extension to something that is more Sega Master System emulator friendly like .sms and see what happens.

Music - I don't know if you can do it, but graphics you can for sure. I helped make a Mega Man 2 hack called Stickman where Mega Man was really skinny and fired hands with middle fingers up for bullets. We also gave Woodman a really big dick. Somehow it seemed appropriate.
