Sorry if I bumped such old topic but...

Any new RPGs on snes, gens, mame, etc? (Since they dont say "RPG" on roms which they should...)

I have good news about Sega Saturn that had problem with memory system. It was turned out a old battery so I replaced new battery and guess what, memory system plus cartiage is working again. (I dunno why cartiage is actually linked to battery after all.) Now, I can play Shining the Holy Ark again. Smile

Name of Game...(Sega Saturn) 07-19-2005 00:51 Forum: Console Gaming and Emulation

I think it is part of Sega Saturn.... I remember I used to play a game about enter a mansion as Butterfly, Your main character is butterfly so you must solve all puzzles in Mansion and meet other butterflies to listen their problems. About being butterfly, You are under a spell of curse... By Alien-like Dude. You gotta solve all puzzles and meet all butterflies folks, once you completed "missions" then youre going to face Alien-like dude and fight him to break a curses. Oh, when you start up a game and loading, you'd see "Blood" On moon and skeleton face on it before you press START. What name was it? I tried to remember so I could play it again.

(Sorry, my grammer messed up... I cant think straight... Cool )

ZSNES is not always works for some games... I'd suggest you to DL SNES 9x, its really good and works on all games.... I'd DL SNES9x instead of ZSNES if I were you.... I have Star Ocean on my computer and it worked real well. Even with English translation.

Another badass dragon.... with FOUR heads! His name is Quarm in EverQuest:

http://eqbeastiary.allakhazam.com/pics/Quarm.JPG

Each heads does different spells such as Earth, Air, Water, Fire. Its hard to beat him if not use those kinds of spells that would heal him. Hes very tough boss but now, our fellow folks has successfully beaten him to death. I still say Onyxia is tough than Quarm... heh.

Our fellow hordes has successfully beaten her to death. It was very tough challenge with her. Cool, eh?

Hardest boss in RPGs:

-Sephiroth (FF7; it was my first RPG game and no Knight of the round)
-Melbu Frahma (Legend of Dragoon, it had 5 or 6 bosses in ROW in final battle)
-Fou-Lu (BoF4, final battle)
-Lunar 2 (Final Battle, forgot his/her name)
-Persona 2 (Serveral of bosses)
-Sorceress Ultimeica (FF8, Final battle, 4 bosses in row)
-Giant ball thingy, Omza (FF10, that giant ball is fucking hardest boss ever!)
-Kuja (FF9, Final battle)
-Legend of Legaia (Final battle, forgot his name)
-Xenogear (Final battle)
-Kingdom Heart 1 & 2 (Final battle)
-Parasite Eve 1 & 2 (Few bosses and final battle)

I think thats all of them....
