Thread: Major Update! |

It was about time!
Updated MAME roms to .103. Not the latest set, but it has most, if not all, the games that people really want. MAME game pages also have info to help guide people. No more "why doesn't this game work?" "you need this other game too" kind of thing.
Added N64 roms!
Added the latest Genesis set!
Added the latest Snes set!
And added emulators for all systems RN supports.

Thread: Hacked? |
|

Hi guys!
Well, Burning Board really is garbage. Most insecure software ever. I've updated to the latest version which fixes the exploit used.
Hito, do you have me on MSN? Don't tell me you still use ICQ
You can find me at ohxander@hotmail.com
No roms have been added mainly because anything we do gets us in legal trouble. I've had to remove many titles recently. With the Wii virtual console, the ESA has really been barking up my tree.
It's on my to-do list to update mame and snes though.

Thread: RN Articles |

Hey guys,
I wish to add more information to ROMNation.NET - specifically guides for emulating each system with screenshots and everything.
Would anyone be willing to lend me a hand? It would be like publishing to a blog, and the article would appear on ROMNation.NET.
Thanks!

Thread: Technical Problem Resolved |
|
|
The site was down the last 20 hours because of a hardware failure on our web server. Our technicians worked hard to identify exactly what had happened, and managed to resolve the issue by replacing a couple of parts. Service is now back to normal. We thank you for your patience.

Thread: 0-byte Files Fixed |
|
|
Following Wednesday's short downtime, the site was experiencing a bug whereby MAME, Sega CD, and NeoGeo CD roms would download as 0-byte files. The bug has been fixed. Files now download as they should. As a sidenote, the slow download speeds experienced after the downtime were caused by some network problems that were resolved as well.

Due to various technical issues, ROMNation.NET was offline for the last three days. We are still working out some kinks but everything seems to be running as it was. ROMNation.NET Freedom Subscribers should note that we will be awarding them an extra five days (two day bonus) to their subscriptions to make up for the downtime. Thank you for your patience; we hope you continue to enjoy our site.

Thread: Several Titles Removed |
|
|
A few years ago the IDSA demanded that we remove a number of intellectual copyrights from the site. We met their demands. Today, the IDSA, now known the ESA, demanded the removal of seven additional properties. By their demand, the following intellectual properties are no longer available for download on ROMNation.NET:
Brute Force
Final Fantasy
Metroid
Oddworld
Tekken
Ultimate Fighting Championship
Wario

Thread: Long Hair - ARGH |
|
|
Well, my hair is now long to the point (shoulder-length all around) where my hair-band (one of those horseshoe plastic things) no longer works to keep the hair from getting in my face when I make sharp turns and stuff playing tennis. I tried tying a ponytail but a few hairs always escape and start getting in my face within minutes of the tying.
Suggestions?
I have been getting a strong urge to cut it short for this one and only reason but I've heard from people with long hair they feel some serious buyer's remorse after doing it. I'm thinking I should try everything before resorting to it. It's really only an issue when playing tennis.
