From what you guys say, it seems that the problems with the d-pad etc
are not too frequent although really we need more people to report on their ds-lites otherwise theres not really much evidence to say either way.

Dont get me wrong I had the game for years and loved it, and I even miss it now I sold it to a mate, but that isnt the point, the point is- most people saying the film is good because its FF7 does'nt make it a good film in itself.
Like the Judge Dredd movie or Chrono Chross anime just because theyre related in some way to the things you like doesnt make them as good.

If Mario RPG was remade like someone said in 3d, like final fantasy 3 and with a bit of a better (hit that button now to make your attack different) controll system, it could be quite good, but also like most people I'd rather just whip out my old console and give it a play, plus again like most people I reckon nintendo would just alter it in so many ways that it would become crap and not the game we all remember.
LISTEN TO US NINTENDO AND YOU MIGHT JUST BEAT SONY IN GAME AND CONSOLE SALES AND BECOME THE GAMING GIANT YOU ONCE WERE!!

from what Lik-Sang said it seems that there were no safety issues whatsoever so what the HELL are sony on about, this is another case of the big corporation kicking a small company's ass for competitions sake.
Anyway I got a PSP on import from japan when they came out, through
my local games store "IT Games", and its been perfectly fine with my home power supply and not exploded or melted once.
Although I dont thnk I should have mentioned the name of the store I got it from, YOU GONNA PICK ON THEM NOW ASWELL, HUH SONY?
(and yes I too doubt sony pay any attention at all to this forum but still....)

OH cmon, you know that when they do finally make the movie its going to be no where near as good as the games, they'll probably make it a overly dumbed down version of the original halo 1+2 plot and just make it a booring shoot-em up, like the movie "Doom".
I honestly believe you shouldnt get your hopes up untill the movie is actually released and your about to see it.
Although I do wonder who would play the cheif.

Ok,
I got a DS lite when it was released, great I thought It has so many imporvements over the original.
*Adjustible Brightness on Backlight
*Slimmer "sexier" design
*Smaller
*GBA games fit it better
and many more
But after having it for about 10 mins I noticed one niggling problem,
The D-pad is piss poor, it is so hard to get it to do diagonals that its
near impossible, and trying to play ResI is just a farce.
and also ive already had three of them 2 had a shitload of dead pixels on the touch screen and main screen and all of the had fecked D-pads.
The original DS's D-pad is beautifully easy to use compared to the DS lite, anyway its annoying.
I cant help think that nintendo rushed the DS-Lite so that it could compete more easily with the PSP.
Anyone else notice this? Got any thoughts?
