oooohh I'm addicted to mIRC, once bludgen showed me how I was hooked Big Grin

but guys do your self a favor a get sysreset instead of mirc, it'll eliminate the need to use all those gay commands. instead you can just point and click on what you want to DL. or I've also heard good things about Invision, but I'm content with sysreset Smile )

I don't even post on forums anymore ther "so yesterday" sysreset > forums

you forgot @find.

you'll all probly laugh at me, but I think C.H.U.D. was damn fucking scary. the monsters just seem realy detailed back then, like I could see viens in ther neck moving and stuff, not so much like a guy wearing a costume. thers a realy good gore scean later in the movie, I still can't belive how realistic it looked for back when the movie was made.
yeah it might be a little hoky, but I was like 5 at the time I saw it.
but the sequal fucking sucks, stay away from it.

but for just sheer gory and brutality I think "Ichi the killer" takes the cake

most bluz jazz and steal string guitar is supposed to be held like in the 2nd pic there, lots of Gibson guitars tend to have fatter necks because the players prefer to hold ther guitar like that

but flamenco and think classical too, hold it like in the 1st pic. flamenco and classical guitar have thinner necks, more suited for fretting the guitar that way.

personlay I try to keep my thumb square in the middle of the neck like in the 1st pic. I realy notice you get a lot more stability and reach. I realy don't see the sense in holding it the other way???? although to each his own.

Custom built ofcouse, I seen some realy nice ones at shoryuken.com's hardware and support forum. but aside from asthetics, you can specify exactly how you want it made, and you can make sure it'll work with your ps2 to USB converter.

other than custom, Hori Real Arcade Pro and MAS are good brand name sticks

any of these options are gonna cost you some money, but thats the price for REAL arcade parts and responsivness, or you could just get a cheap x-arcade or pelican if you don't care about that type of thing.

I have dreamcast VCD play, and if it plays anything at all it plays like complete shit, your much better off just getting a DVD player that plays VCDs.

well its not impossible to do the moves on a pelican or x-arcade stick. but if you start to get real cometitive about fighting games, its makes a big difference on how much effort you have to excert to preform the motions. a good joystick can even allow you to do combos that are almost impossible on cheap stick, if you think about having to buffer a 3/4 to a full circle with in frames of a normal move?

I don't mean to brag or anything, well maybe just a litle, but the 1st time I met this friend of mine, I brought over my RO stick, he had a pelican stick, we trades sticks a few rounds to try them out. and the next time I went to his house he sold his pelican, and switched back to the PS2 pad. and I didn't talk shit about his stick, talk him into selling it or anything?

I'm actualy getting tired of the stick have, and already want a japanese one, I'm just becoming realy picky about it Baby

good luck with your pelican, at the very least you'll build up some for arm muscle with it Cool

Red Octane is good if you get the one that has HAPP parts in it.

BUT it does use a playstation1's PCB, and if you plan on playing a lot of 2d fighters KOF samishodown ect. Your gonna run into problems cause that ps2 to USB converter from radio shack or whatever ps2>usb converter you get. are all made for ps2 dual shock controllers.
the joystick will still work, but for games that require precise QCF and HC movements, its a piece of shit. So thats something to consider no matter which joystick you get, either make sure it has dualshock pcb
or get a ps2 to parrallel port converter, I've heard works good with ps1 joysticks.

the best joysticks are custom made ps2 joysticks, they don't make ANY good pc joysticks I know of, everything is ps2 and then buy the conveter. I would recomend going over to http://www.shoryuken.com and hitting up one of those stick builders in the hardware and support section to build you a stick, they'll build a fucking pimp ass rig with art work on it and everything for probly cheaper than a MAS. vs getting a stick from some store especialy gamestop that plays like a fisher price toy Roll Eyes

but hey, thats just what I think! sure go ahead and get whatever stick you want, if you plan on playing games TMNT the simpsons, beat em ups and top down and side scrolling shooters you should be fine with whatever you pick. but don't say I didn't warn you when you find out you can't do a simple fireball in streetfighter 2.

if you do care about about playing 2d fighting. I recomend doing some research into what you want. the x-arcade and pelican stick may look like real arcade sticks but they're not, they certainly don't feel like them!
the closest to arcade sticks is either HAPP compitition stick or the HAPP perfect 360 if not its probly EXACTLY what they use in the arcade.
and if you want a japanese style stick, Sanwas are the way to go. those are only the sticks themselves. but that should be what to look for if you wanna get a quality stick

GGXX#R korean version - as always

Paper Mario 2 - its getting tough with only 20 HP since I sunk all my exp points into BP, boss battles are pretty strategic and lucky.

Doom 3 - is getting very under appreciated IMO, one of the scariest games I ever played! if it dosn't scare you get a better surround sound Tongue

oh yeah and Melty Blood ReAct - for pc

gnboston22

I'd just like to point out that whole get a life, your a loser who uses forums flame is soo played out, its like the oldest flamebait in the world. if ther are people here who still live with ther parents or without work like myself Big Grin a loser like you said! don't you think they've already comed to terms of acceptance? its in no way creative or a worthy flame. the people who ussualy say this are the ones that truely hurt and are just lashing out blindly, the same goes for the spelling flame, seen it on too many forums to count. and if too good to use forums or have a life than why does your post count say different, It took me a good couple a months, maybe even longer before I even got close to a 100 Roll Eyes

a good general rule, is to not be a demanding jackass, when try to ask for help or at forums your new to. if you do it gives everyone all the right in world to flame you, trying to say a comeback after that. will just further make you look like an idiot. not saying you did this, although you probly did. I'm saying this incase any newbs happen to read it.

I'm try to make ps2 "back ups" useing alcohole 120% first I found out I was useing a shitty brand DVD+R (TDK) which it worked once and never booted up agin. and Now I tried memorx DVD+Rs, it booted up the 1st time and then a few secs in to the game I noticed the sound flickering off and finaly froze and don't work no more. It does however boot up every time, and dosn't make wierd noises like with the TDKs Big Grin

so I must be burning it the wrong way or something?

I have version 1.9.2, the whole process is simplistic click image making wizard then Image burning wizard easy as that. So what did I leave out????

I have a sony brand dual layer burner, I don't think its needs the firmware, I didn't see sony on the brands that needed it?

edit: just tried burning at slower speed 4x, still no luck

I'm up to 4 costers now Cool
