Thread: DOS Emulator? |
|

Whatever the case Grocklon, I believe the OP wasn't asking for ROMs. Those are DOS applications.
Anyway kristoffer7, I don't usually give out web addresses to other site on forums. Call it conflict of interest. But I do know those games exist on sites, I've dl a few, especially Leisure Larry games.
Just.. google keywords "abandonware". Should lead you to those sites.
Anyway, ROMnation has loads of games.

Thread: What games have you been playing? |
|

Surprising that after 15 years, somebody is still playing Zelda: Link to the Past.
That's one testament how good a game really is. It transcends 3D cards, dual core processors, surround audio, and SATAs, and yet Zelda never fails to lure players.
Enjoy that game man!!

Thread: DOS Emulator? |
|
|
Very easy yo...
For example, you have the game XCom on the folder c:\xcom
So what you need is just type
mount c c:\xcom
then type the executable to play. In this case, for the XCom, you need to type i think "play".
Questions?

Thread: which systems for RPGs ?? |
|
|
There's an RPG on NeoGeo, Samurai Spirits RPG (and I'm having problems yet on playing the game)
SNES seems the best bet to find excellent RPGs, not to mention the most recent release Star Ocean and Tales of Phantasia along with other hits like FF7 (one with Locke and Sabin), Front Mission and Chrono Trigger.
Sega Genesis, too had lots to offer. The Shining Force series is awesome, then there's the best rpg ever Shadowrun.
NES has also a variety to offer, though the lack of engine power do make the games somewhat lacking

Okay, it seems I always get stuck myself. I just downloaded Samurai Showdown RPG, having heard how cool the game was. Now, despite my funk I can't seem to play the rom. I've tried Winkawaks, Mame 0.72, and NeoGeo 8c..
Any help please? I am on the verge of /wristing..

Thread: .VCD extension games, emunalators |
|
|
there's an existing thread about that already...
In any case, most games integrated into the .VCD format are usually NES games, which I think you should have if you want to play those games.
Umm, you'd need to download the said games as well..
