OK, I downloaded the 103 version offered here. We only have dial-up in my area but I'll download all the versions previously released (takes an hour and a half each) to see if I can find the right one. They made it sound so easy to play these games!
I'm gettin the 90 & 79 version right now. I don't know how to work these ones though. They use command promps but I don't know which .exe I'm supposed to use.

So do I have to do this with every game? How do I know which version will play what?
Oh, and I'm getting the same problem with the GENS emulator. It won't play any of the games I downloaded. Even after I converted all the 7z games to zip.
I'm just not understanding any of this! It's complicated but I'm not giving up until I figure it all out and can join in on all the fun. Basically, right now I have a bunch of games and emulators I downloaded from here that I cannot play.

Hey everyone, I've been playing DOS games for the past couple years before finding the ROMS today specifically to play the X-Men Arcade Game of my youth. However, I can't get it to play in MAME32. I put it in the ROM file and on the program it says it's a working game but nothing happens when I try to play it. Am I missing another step here?
I also downloaded FCE Ultra to see if that emulator worked. But I can't even figure out which file in it is the program.
I'm also looking for the games Predator 2, Crysalis (sp?), Robin Hood, and the Little Mermaid game.
I'm gonna try downloading some more games on here to see if it's just the file for X-Men not working or if I'm just a total retard as I've been told.

OK, I've downloaded other games and they're not loading. I checked out the troubleshooting options. I moved everything to a location with a shorter address, as for the other options in the troubleshooting, I don't even know where to begin!
