Y'know Hito I'll disagree on that, I think the CPSIII was special.
But holy fucking shit!!!
Like, you said four years, and someone asks this question on every rom or emulation board at least once a month. In all that time not a single detail has changed a single bit. Nothing is different.
Why is this question still being asked!? Thread starter, what were you told here you couldn't have learned by searching to no greater period than two minutes?

I wouldn't really know, I just used google and typed in: x files season 5 episode guide. I'd remembered it was from that season and I got this site: http://www.redwolf.com.au/xfiles/ . Doesn't look to be too great, goin' by their discription I sincerely doubt you'd have known that was the episode you were after. The titles can often be tricky as well, they usually make zero sense unless you pick up on a specific line from the selective episodes and sometimes even not then.

Umm you got a few details wrong but I'm a fan of the show and after a very quick search I can tell you the episode is Travellers, the fifteenth episode in season five. It's a nice one, maybe not quite as funny as you remember but it's got neat little one-liner about the "X" files, n' an why there called that.

Thread: The ESA has no room to tell you what you can post here at Romnation.net |
|
|
First poster, you want to pay the site owner's legal fees to prove your point? The ESA are paid to protect the Intellectual Property of various owners and they actively do so where they can. Proving a case before a judge in court isn't as simple a matter as making something of a valid legal point here on a message board.
A catch 22 situation. It's the same as hearing emulators are perfectly legal so long as you dump you own ROMs to use with them, while at the same time bein' told ROM dumping of any kind is illegal. Selling flash carts to developers seems to be illegal now too, was even held up in a Hong Kong courts of all places.
If you want to be the dude who beats the ESA in court and gets to fedral goverment to be sending them cease and desist letters about their threats to ROM sites. I'm all f'r backin' you. But somehow I don't think Anile8 wants to be that guinea pig for your crusade.

Hahahahahaha I really doubt that, but it's a nice thought. Would be hard to emulate a system that doesn't exist yet.
Like Hito said just pre-rendered stuff.
I was sayin', they could basically play Finding Nemo on a giant screen and ask you to marvel at the power of their new system (that conseqently also plays DVDs).

Yup the Xbox demos were basically running off of regular ol' PCs.
I guess that the same is true of the PS3, though they made a point to emphasize that they were showing everyone the actual thing.

Microsoft probably just wants a footing in the movie biz. If they can claim every future right to the Halo property then they have a a viable source of future revinue (provided it does well). But knowing how spotless track record of any flick with a video game tie-in we can be sure they'll take a deadly shot right where it hurts them the most. So I encourage you all to avoid this thing like the plague and spare us a flood of M$™ brand flim.

Ohh hey sorry to sound like a jerk here but your info is wrong Tootall, well kind of confusing at least. The an arcade version that had all those extra console only characters selectable was SFZ3 Upper and only released in Japan. It's closest to the DC version as it Namoi hardware, but to go into deeper detail the Dreamcast version was the furthest from arcade perfect of the 3 console releases (PS, DC and Saturn). It was also widely regarded as the worst.
I wouldn't even really count the GBA version. :\

Wanting to download a show and getting an executable file should be warning enough.
EULA's should be more of one.

Wow, this is shit.
I actually post something then have to scroll through more than a page of just seeing three avatars to find out everyone else's given up.
Why don't you guys just use IM programs again?

Could also try ZiNc, though with that game I'm betting playability will be limited there too.

Yeah somethin's just off the boards look strange just bein' chat between a few dudes.
Quick edit: Though in fairness when I first came, it was exactly that situation between Hito and Temp.
Of course I thought that was much cooler.

Thread: HELP: CPS-3 woes OR sfiii.chd missing file :S |

Umm teeny correction there, nothin' major, but it used CDs.
And to further elaborate on the original poster's question what you heard a while ago is still just as true, there hasn't been a bit of progress and the same will hold true for a very long while. Also no one is even working on making the emulation a reality, and should there ever come a time when there is even the slightest shread of actual news I'm sure you'd only have trouble avoiding it in places like this.

Thread: Police Cuff 5 Year Old Only in America! |
|
|
People are too fuckin' sensitive. There ain't a damned thing a five year old girl can do that a school full of specially trained staff who should be used to dealing with children couldn't handle. Then three cops show up? I was used to a single squad car carrying two. And the mother's all up in arms, especially since this stuff was all video taped and the little girl was chilled out when they cuffed her, and I'm bettin' she'll win 'cause she saved her tantrum for last and she's throwin' hers the worst.
The real people who need to be locked are the mother, the teachers, and the cops.
This story's just all sorts of wrong.
