Actually, Melosevic was the president. As for Somalia, arent people, people? Does it matter if the genocide was caused by rival factions or the government? Does it make it less or more severe? Does it change the value of human life?

As for an Illegal war, I guess that means that Clinton also broke the law since he went into Iraq without U.N. approval. (http://www.un.org/ga/59/ this is the General Assembly website, you can find the information in there)

Oh yes, Michael Moore's movie has been proven to be incorrect(http://slate.msn.com/id/2102723#ContinueArticle). Quoting a movie as a viable source of information is laughable at best. Any serious debate on this matter and my friend, you'd be laughed off of the podium.

As for 60 minutes, if I recall, which I just looked over the MANY Articles of the U.N. charter, NOWHERE in the United Nations charter says it to be a law-enforcing organization (http://www.un.org/aboutun/charter/index.html). Therefore, the U.S. can not be in an "illegal" war since the U.N. is not a law enforcing agency. Even if the U.N. was a law enforcing agency, the United States is a soverign nation, and we make the laws to govern ourselves...thats what the constitution is there for

By the way, before you go making conclusions about my political views, ask. I'm not a republican at all. Im actually Libertarian. I cant stand alot of things Bush has done (such as the lack of border control and the laws passed that allow undocumented foreign people to come into the US and work, then go back across the border without even the slightest security check. However, on this thing I am. Saddam had to go.

So, again, you're free to look at the ACTUAL source of my information, and feel free to still think I'm wrong. It's obvious that the Socialist Mantra has imbedded too deep for any logic to make an impact.

Enjoy, god bless, and feel free to insult me. Afterall when emotion driven people get cornered, they have to insult because they have no factual data to back up their case. You had your chance. You failed. Hug the grave of Karl Marx, worship the U.N., hug North Korea, and put a daisy in your gun. I dont care. But the day the U.N. and Socialist Liberals run this country will be the harbinger of us being led off in chains or blown off the face of the planet.

Stein

P.S. Im not responding to any post ion this topic now, my point has been made clearly and validated by my sources. Say what you want. You had your chance.

Sir,
I never once insulted anyone on here for having a different opinion than mine, nor insulting their intellect just because they have a view that opposes mine. So, please state an argument clearly and concise and leave the insults for the elementary school playground.

As for being an illegal war, under who's law is it illegal? If you mean the U.N.'s law, that also means stopping the Somalian genocide, also, Melosevic, Libya, also stopping the fighting and killing of children in Sudan, are also "illegal" because the United Nations did not vote to support these actions.

Unlike most people, I state my source, which actually makes my argument valid. You can go to the United Nations website and actually see what they voted on and also sanctioned. Pretty easy to find.

I quote the President of the United States on a emergency television broadcast:

"If Saddam rejects peace and we have to use force, our purpose is clear. We want to seriously diminish the threat posed by Iraq's weapons of mass destruction program."

As I said, this quote was made by the president at a speech at the pentagon.

Oh, that president was Bill Clinton, who wasnt in it for the oil. He made this speech on February 17, 1998 (http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1998/02/1...tical.analysis/) So, was Clinton in it for the oil too? I dont remember him being an oil man...

Stein

P.S. before you go spouting the brainless Marching Order Liberal Mantra, state a source, CNN, FOX, something. Give yor argument some merit.

One thing about the PSP that might put it over the top that no-one has really talked about.

Batter power.
It's going to take ALOT of battery power to power the 2 screens...alot of power. Of course the PSP's gonna be a power sucker as well.

Question: If the PSP supports DVD, can you watch DVD's on it? If so, PSP's gona eat the DS alive.....

My 2 cents now.

I own both systems (thanks to my unique wife fooling skill) and I gotta say that it seems that Xbox has much better graphics and also more power than the PS.

However, I've seen what the PS is capable of and when the PS 3 comes out, I think they're really going to put on the heat.

Why I think this:
Well, when the PS 2 came out, the Xbox was still an enigma really. Sony had no reason to throw out all their guns on every game because Nintendo was a joke, and Sega folded pretty much, and nobody actually thought the Xbox would do very well (myself included). They were number 1 and knew it. Now, since the box does pretty well in sales, Sony has a reason to flex their muscules and really make some great games. Im not saying the Microsoft wont make great games, but the one problem with xbox that sony does very well is diversity.

The Xbox has alot of games that are exactly alike. They do ALOT of 1st person shooters, 3rd person, and sports. Xbox only has 1 RPG that is really worth anything (Fable) and it's kind of corny really. If you dont like one kind of genre of game, it pretty much cuts your game choices from the Xbox by about a quarter, maybe even a third.

In closing, I really think that the PS3 is going to do some serious damage to Microsoft and the box (and the box2). NVIDIA is awesome, IMHO, the best GPU company in the business and they will really put alot into it.

3 things are guaranteed: 1. You're going to be alot poorer when the new stuff comes out 2. You'll become more of an albino being inside all that time 3. The people who I think will prosper the most out of the competition are the gamers.

Stein

P.S. Look in Japan, it's a harbinger for things to come everywhere else in about 1-3 years....the box is horrid there....something to think about.

Luckily grey, Im not a sports fan.

As for Nod's comment, yes, they are funded by America, in that you're correct. But the "leadership" if you want to call it that are pretty much all Socialists. I dont agree with the U.N. at all. Not just what they do against America. I dont believe that the U.N. has the right to tell anybody what to do. After all, every nation is soverign.

Whether it be The United States, France, Iraq, Iran, anybody.
