  We need A Mario RPG Remake for DS

It would be cool to see a Mario RPG remake for DS make it more 3d like they're doing with Final fantasy 3 and No More minigames I'm sick of those. Almost every game on GBA or DS Minigames Boring! In an older issue of Nintendo Power they had a vote what was the Number one game they wanted to see a remake on GBA everyone voted Mario RPG but did Nintendo care No! they just put out the older Mario titles with the same crappy Mario game on every cart! Nintendo sucks now cause they don't give a damn what we want. Damn it were the ones who buy the games!

Nintendo likes to redo things and make it different, and sometimes it hurts things. Like how Mario RPG 2 and 3 are actually paper mario 1 and 2, and honestly, those two are not that good. I played both and had to turn the game off almost immediatly, the story was horrific and the gameplay was just shody. The second one wasn't any good. If they make another Mario RPG for GBA, it should be a sequel, not a remade version of the first one. As much as i would like to play the original on a GBA, i'll just hook up my SNES and play it again, i want a sequel, not one that i have already with one or two things added to it.

I kind of agree with you. Look at The New Super mario Brothers Remake for DS the music sucks! not to mention too many damn minigames

i havn't played the new super mario bros. though i heard it is pretty good, and i think the little mini game things are via Super Mario Bros. 3 (the mushroom house dealy) but i don't have a DS, i have a PSP, but my nephew has a DS and i usually play what games he has on that, so if he has that game, then i'll try it out *shrugs*

yea the mario rpg (legendary 7 stars) or w/e lol me and my brother in law have been playing it as we speak, we take turns he's mario and im mallow and hes geno and im bowser and thats pretty much all the people we use, we've gotten pretty far in the past 3 days, this games classic, first time i played it was when my cousin mike had it for super nintendo we could never beat the guy with the arrows when you first join geno,cuz well i was 7 then or 6 when i first played it and then i figured why not get the game here? so we started playing it yeah they should make a remake I have psp tho lol not DS..

paper mario was geared towards kids, with a nod towards the original super mario rpg. Its just what went wrong is that Super Mario RPG was made by square soft and one of thelast snes games ever made before N64 hit shelves. So being that nintendo didn't have rights to that specific game (they kinda do, they just couldn't make it a sequel i guess, i'm not to sure if it would be copyright or something) but i'm sure squaresoft when they left nintendo and went to sony took all they're stuff :shrugs:

If Mario RPG was remade like someone said in 3d, like final fantasy 3 and with a bit of a better (hit that button now to make your attack different) controll system, it could be quite good, but also like most people I'd rather just whip out my old console and give it a play, plus again like most people I reckon nintendo would just alter it in so many ways that it would become crap and not the game we all remember.

LISTEN TO US NINTENDO AND YOU MIGHT JUST BEAT SONY IN GAME AND CONSOLE SALES AND BECOME THE GAMING GIANT YOU ONCE WERE!!
